Yves Saint Laurent is the subject of two new films.
In 2010, the life and love of genius couturier Yves Saint Laurent inspired the documentary L’Amour Fou. In 2012, French director Jalil Lespert is set to document the 50-year love affair between the Algerian-born couturier and Pierre Bergé. The two met in 1958, while Saint Laurent worked for Christian Dior, and four years later launched YSL. Another film is said to focus on the creation of the YSL brand in the 60s with director Bertrand Bonello at the helm.
