LIP ART IS THE LATEST

LIP ART IS THE LATEST

The world of beauty is enjoying a period of bold trends with hair and nails creating waves with outlandish colours and designs. It was only a matter of time before lips became the new focal point. Take a look at Violent Lips, the temporary lip tattoo and the latest offering from Maskscara (the same people who brought us Minx nails).
Violent Lips launched in April 2011 in the States and have already caused quite a stir locally and internationally. Celebrities like Jessie J (see below) and the young Jenner sisters, Kendall and Kylie, are all fans of the lip art.

Violent Lips last up to eight hours, which is all you need for a night out. With over 40 designs to choose from, whether it be all-out glitter or over-the-top animal print, there seems to be one for almost every style and taste.
The application process seems simple enough and can be done at home, much like a normal temporary tattoo. If you would like a step-by-step guide, visit the Violent Lips website here for a quick and easy tutorial.
Each pack contains three applications and costs R125. For more information and stockists, contact Violent Lips’ South African distributor on 0861 846 873.

We spotted the above picture on weheartit, glitter and gold overload anyone?
Although we are enjoying the new direction beauty trends are taking, we can’t make up our minds about Violent Lips. What do you think? Fun or frightening?
